COMPANY HISTORY

THG Logistics, Inc. was founded by Frederick Hudson to provide third party logistics support to companies that do not possess core logistics expertise. Frederick has greater than 25 years of experience working in the logistics field in both line and management capacities. He gained expertise in automotive logistics while working with Ford Motor Company. He then switched industries, joining VWR International, a scientific supplies company and learned different logistics applications. Frederick recognized the growing market for third party logistics services and decided to leave his position as Vice President of National Accounts with VWR International to found THG Logistics.

THG is capable of providing on site material handling, on site delivery, warehousing, barcode tracking technology, logistics systems support and customized logistics support to customers located through out the United States. With Ford Motor Co. Frederick managed large distribution / warehousing environments and gained expertise in dealing with large and complex inventory requirements. During his tenure as Vice President of National Accounts for VWR International Frederick gained first hand knowledge of the logistics requirements at various companies within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries and also government organizations. Frederick was often called upon to consult with the logistics departments of these organizations. As a result he gained expertise in dealing with complex regulatory issues that affected the distribution, warehousing and material handling environments.
